JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY:
A passionate and analytical leader for the Engagement Marketing Intelligence and Value Management function. Leverages expertise in data analysis, strategy, and financial modeling across engagement marketing domains (Sports, Entertainment, and Special Projects) to drive strategic decision-making organization-wide. Responsible for building and managing a team of analysts, developing data-driven insights, and implementing strategies to maximize value across diverse partnerships and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy & Leadership: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive engagement marketing intelligence strategy spanning Sports, Entertainment, and Special Projects, aligned with overall business objectives
- Team Management: Oversee a team of analysts responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting engagement and performance data from various sources
- Insight Translation: Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for sponsorship activation, talent/influencer selection (athletes, artists, KOLs), content creation, and other engagement-driven activities
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to assess the value proposition of potential and existing partnerships, events, and special projects
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the broader engagement marketing landscape
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including sponsorship, marketing, and talent/partner relations teams
- Communication: Communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in marketing analytics, audience measurement, and data visualization
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of strong data analytics experience; interest or background in sports marketing, entertainment, or sponsorship is a significant plus
- Proven track record of leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision-making in the engagement marketing, sports, or entertainment industries
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with marketing/engagement datasets and statistical models
- Excellent financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights
- Experience managing and leading a team of analysts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for sports and entertainment, with a deep understanding of the broader engagement marketing landscape
- Preferred: Professional experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Accounting, or Auditing is a significant plus
