MR. D.I.Y. is looking for a highly experienced Warehouse Automation Project Head to lead the next distribution center transformation. This role is ideal for a senior operations leader with deep expertise in warehouse automation, large-scale DC management, WMS/ERP integration, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end warehouse and distribution center operations including inbound, outbound, inventory control, fulfillment, and workforce management.
- Drive automation initiatives using ASRS, Mini Load, Pick-to-Light, WMS, and ERP systems.
- Improve productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, and cost efficiency across DC operations.
- Oversee implementation and optimization of WMS, WCS, and warehouse automation technologies.
- Monitor KPIs, SLA performance, productivity, and operational dashboards for executive management.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Transport, IT, and Commercial teams for seamless operations.
- Lead and develop large operational teams, creating a high-performance culture.
- Manage budgets, capex planning, automation investments, and cost forecasts.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean / Continuous Improvement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards.
- Lead ambient storage and fulfillment operations with scalable automation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse automation and logistics operations.
- Strong experience in ASRS, Mini Load, Pick-to-Light, WMS, ERP is required.
- Proven track record managing large operations teams (500+ employees preferred).
- Experience in retail, FMCG, logistics, e-commerce, or high-volume distribution environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma is an advantage.
- Fluent English is required.
- Chinese communication skill is a plus.
