Role Description

We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at our Mumbai office. This full-time, on-site role combines 50% Talent Acquisition and 50% HR Generalist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (50%)

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and screening to interviews, offer negotiations, and closures.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and fulfil positions within agreed timelines.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, employee referrals, and other recruitment channels.
• Maintain recruitment pipelines, track hiring metrics, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives.

HR Generalist (50%)

• Manage employee onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture.
• Coordinate with the finance team and external payroll vendors, where applicable, to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
• Manage payroll-related statutory compliance and documentation, including applicable PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and TDS requirements.
• Handle employee queries related to payroll, HR policies, and benefits.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture.
• Support performance management, employee lifecycle activities, HR reporting, and policy implementation.
• Ensure HR processes comply with applicable labour laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in both Talent Acquisition and HR Generalist activities.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, ATS platforms, or other recruitment tools.
• Good understanding of HR operations, employee documentation, onboarding, and engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in media, digital advertising, technology, or a startup environment is an advantage.

Work Mode: Full-time, on-site

Experience: 1.5 - 5 years

Key requirement: Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment, HR operations, and payroll processing.
