AI Product Owner, Specialist

Job Summary:

Lead the discovery, definition, and delivery of GenAI solutions that transform business operations across our life insurance enterprise. You'll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business problems into AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable value while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and prioritize GenAI use cases
• Own the product backlog and roadmap for assigned GenAI initiatives
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering with business units
• Define success metrics and track business value realization
• Lead user acceptance testing and change management activities
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence
• Communicate progress and results to executive leadership
• Manage relationships with business partners and end users
• Balance business needs with technical feasibility and risk considerations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, solution development, or consulting.
• 2+ years in insurance industry or banking
• Understanding of AI/ML capabilities and limitations (GenAI/LLM experience highly valued)
• Proven track record of delivering technology solutions with measurable business impact
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or relevant master's degree
• Familiarity with insurance systems (policy administration, claims, underwriting)
• Experience with change management and user adoption strategies
• Understanding of AI ethics, bias, and governance considerations
• Previous experience bridging business and technical teams
