Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial statements; prepare management reports for local leadership, regional finance, and HQ.
  • Monitor project costs, track progress, and provide performance analysis to support business decisions.
  • Ensure financial reporting complies with group policies, Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS), and local regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to drive cost efficiency, operational improvement, and growth.
  • Manage weekly cash flow and monthly funding forecasts.
  • Review and file quarterly VAT returns for the company and, where applicable, on behalf of clients.
  • Lead process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support digital transformation of finance functions (e.g., e-invoicing, ERP enhancements).
  • Partner with non-finance teams to address financial and operational issues, including performance reviews and VAT-related client services.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, conduct monthly budget vs. actual reviews, and update rolling forecasts with variance analysis.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks to ensure smooth audits, tax compliance, and resolution of banking matters.
  • Supervise the documentation team and manage administrative tasks for the accounting department.
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments from Regional Finance or senior management as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting/finance experience, preferably within a multinational or fast-paced environment in Thailand.
  • Solid hands-on experience in general ledger, financial reporting, and budgeting/forecasting.
  • Basic understanding of local tax, company law, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Fast learner with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and advanced Excel.
  • Fluent in English(written and spoken).
