SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations in Thailand. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, taxation, and internal controls. The role ensures alignment with both local statutory requirements and the group's financial policies, while supporting business strategy and decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Act as a finance business partner to management in decision-making processes.
- Support and collaborate with other divisions to achieve efficient and effective business operations.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the quality management system and finance-related processes.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax laws, and licensing regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Group financial policies and procedures.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports and interpret financial data to support business decisions.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales performance, and compare actual results against the business plan.
- Conduct cost control reviews and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the company's budget and forecasts.
- Manage corporate and legal documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with bankers, credit card merchants, auditors, and tax agents.
- Monitor credit control and debt collection and advise management on legal action if necessary.
- Approve the finalization of financial statements.
- Oversee project cost control and monitor expenditures.
- Authorize payments to suppliers and manage petty cash replenishment.
- Provide backup support to colleagues when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:-
- Must possess at least a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 5 - 8 year(s) in managerial position and working experience in Finance and or accounting field.
- Preferably from F&B and Hospitality Industry and those with Audit experience in international audit firms are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of Thai tax, local regulations, and accounting standards.
- Proficient in Excel and other standards office software.
- Fluent in Thai and proficient in English (both written and spoken).
- Mature, articulate with analytical and detail-minded, well-organized, responsible, and self-motivated.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills and ability to provide leadership and supervisory is compulsory.
- Able to work under pressure and independently as this position requires travel to network locations.
