Role Description

The Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Pattaya, responsible for overseeing all beverage operations across the resort's bars, restaurants, beach club, pool venues, and special events. This role drives beverage innovation, quality, profitability, and guest satisfaction by developing unique beverage programs, managing beverage costs and inventory, leading training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all safety and service standards.

The Beverage Manager works closely with the Food & Beverage team to create distinctive beverage experiences that align with The Standard brand while maximizing revenue opportunities. Responsibilities include menu development, supplier management, forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis, staff coaching, and maintaining exceptional beverage service standards across all outlets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage, bar, or hospitality operations, including managerial responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, coffee, non-alcoholic beverages, beverage trends, and menu development.

• Proven leadership skills with experience in team management, coaching, training, and performance development.

• Strong understanding of beverage cost control, inventory management, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue optimization.

• Experience developing creative beverage concepts, promotional events, and guest engagement programs.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong guest-focused mindset.

• Ability to analyze operational and financial performance data and implement improvement strategies.

• Knowledge of HACCP, beverage regulations, food safety, hygiene standards, and responsible alcohol service.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems.

• Fluent in English additional language skills are an advantage.
