Mechanical Manager - Data Center Operations (Bangkok, Thailand)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.

• Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and local building codes.

• Manage vendors, service contracts, budgets, and maintenance activities.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and respond to emergencies to maintain data center uptime.

• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and system performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and mechanical infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and fire suppression systems.

• Knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and energy efficiency standards.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is an advantage.
