Job Description:
As a Sales Manager, you will play an active part in growing our SaaS & Payments company through its next phase of growth - by driving new customer acquisition and expanding value within the existing customer base. You will be part of a new team and have the opportunity to pioneer and build a unique Digital/AI-enabled Sales culture that emphasizes on Technology to do the mundane sales stuff so that you have time to focus on what you love best - nurturing relationships!
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates for this Inbound Sales Manager role should excel at converting inbound leads from new prospects and existing clients into closed-won deals, including annual renewals, by deeply understanding business needs and aligning software solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and close complex B2B software deals (new acquisitions and renewals) by assessing client needs, recommending tailored solutions, and driving negotiations to signature.
- Qualify inbound leads via structured discovery calls, ROI-focused demos, and qualification frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC, optimizing these processes for efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional communication: Present technical software solutions clearly to C-suite (non-technical and technical stakeholders) using consultative selling to uncover pain points, quantify ROI, and align proposals with strategic goals
Relationship and Collaboration Focus
- Build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders across new and renewing clients.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Operations for seamless lead handoffs, process alignment, and superior customer experiences throughout the funnel.
Performance and Strategy
- Track key metrics (lead performance, conversion rates, pipeline health) to generate precise sales forecasts, reports, and actionable insights for leadership.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to refine inbound strategies, playbooks, and objection handling.
Representation and Influence
- Represent the company at virtual demos, webinars, and industry events to elevate brand authority and foster trust with prospects.
Requirements:
- 2 years of B2B software/SaaS sales experience, with experience driving both new and recurring revenue or account management & managing full sales cycles for midmarket clients.
- Background in subscription-based products across enterprise or mid-market segments.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in an inbound or inside sales environment.
- Demonstrated success selling to Csuite and senior executives (e.g., CEO, CIO, CFO, CTO), with ability to navigate complex buying committees.
- Familiarity with SaaS or enterprise software business models, pricing, and renewal/expansion motions.
- Demonstrated success building pipelines with a strong focus on discovery, cross-sell, and upsell. With strong skills in pipeline management, sales forecasting, and maintaining accurate CRM hygiene.
- Skilled in using CRM and revenue intelligence platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong) to drive performance insights.
Good to have:
- Expert understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn) and how to optimize for expansion.
- Previous experience in teamlead role (managing SDRs/inside sales reps or account executives)
- Experience collaborating closely with marketing to improve lead quality, scoring, and handover processes.
