Business Development Executive
Job Description
1. Market Research & Analysis
- Monitor retail market landscapes and identify emerging trends and potential opportunities.
- Conduct studies on new brand opportunities, including in-depth company analysis, synergy assessments, and competitive landscape evaluations.
- Apply analytical frameworks and tools to assess business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentation decks and pitch materials to management.
2. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify, reach out to, and engage targeted potential partners to initiate business conversations.
3. Project Management
- Support the development of market entry strategies and comprehensive business plans.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners to align strategies and drive the implementation of new business initiatives.
- Coordinate and support project launch execution to ensure a smooth setup and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with related teams to ensure long-term synergies and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, International Business or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in market research, business development, partnerships, or related roles.
- Ability to spot market shifts and trends with an open-minded approach.
- Strong analytical skill combined with commercial retail acumen and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across functions.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
